The day dawned misty and windless over Georgian Bay. While most people were still asleep, I awoke to discover a dreamlike, almost monochrome, landscape.

Mist had settled near the surface of the water, erasing the world’s color. The bay formed a mirror, still, and almost entirely flat. I could discern only the slightest swell, slowly undulating from lake to shore, lake to shore, lake to shore.

I found myself moving at a pace languid like the water’s movement, as if the whole world had slowed. My camera captured dreamy images while the fog lifted and the sun rose, reflected in the liquid looking-glass.

A customer writes: “It is subtle and unique in black and white and whispers to us as well - how fortunate we are to have such beauty around us, and how important it is to do our part to protect our environment.”
